Job Type:- Temporary Basis
Pay Scale:- Rs. 31000/- + HRA for 1st and 2nd Year, and thereafter Rs. 35000/- + HRA for 3rd Year as SRF. (Candidates, with M. Sc. Degree and without NET if selected, will be paid to assign the post of Project Associate I @ Rs. 25000/- + HRA per month for initial two years, and thereafter Rs. 28000/- + HRA as Project Associate II.) HRA shall be paid as per the University rules.
Qualification
JRF/Project Associate-I:- Minimum 55% in M.Sc./ M.Tech/ Integrated M.Tech in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Applied Geography & Geoinformatics and relevant subject. Preference may be given to the candidates with research interest & fieldwork as per the requirement of the project. Candidate, who in the last semester of their M.Sc./ M.Tech degree may also apply. Candidates with NET will be preferred.
Desirable:- Candidates having experience and knowledge in large data handling (satellite data and satellite data products, Census, NSSO, meteorological data, etc.), with working knowledge of hyperspectral & microwave remote sensing, R, Python, MATLAB software(s), artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc. will be preferred.
