Qualification

  • TGT: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45% marks in the relevant subject in which the selection is to be made (studied in all the three years) from an institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government or University Grants Commission. Provided that for the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks. Also B.Ed from recognized training institute. OR B.Ed by the National Council for Teacher Education. degree declared equivalent to For physical teachers, a bachelor’s degree in arts, science or commerce with at least 45 percent marks from a university recognized by the state government or the central government will be mandatory. But for the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks will be mandatory. Also B.P.Ed from recognized training institute. or by the National Council for Teacher Education B.P.Ed. degree declared equivalent to (The prescribed qualification for selection will be according to the notification number 434 dated 01.03.2016 and notification number 355 dated 22.02.2022 of the Department of School Education and Literacy as amended) Annexure – B & Bl.
  • PGT: Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks in the subject related to the subject in which the selection is to be made from an institution recognized by the State Government or the Central Government or the University Grants Commission. Provided that for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a postgraduate degree with minimum 45 percent marks. Also B.Ed from recognized training institute. OR B.Ed by the National Council for Teacher Education. Of Degree declared equivalent. (The educational qualification prescribed for the selection will be as per the notification number-2425 dated 04.09.2012 and notification number-935 dated 06.04.2022 of the Department of School Education and Literacy as amended) Annexure A & Al.

Salary Details

  • TGT: Rs. 26,250/- Per Month
  • PGT: Rs. 27,500/- Per Month
