Qualification/ Experience: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engg./Naval Architecture from a recognized University/Institution or MOT 1st Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. Fifteen years experience in a managerial capacity dealing with Mechanical/Electrical/Marine/Electronics Engg. Works, out of which 8 years experience shall be in workshops undertaking maintenance of cargo handling equipment/Electrical installations/Ship repairs in any Major Port Trust/Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.

How to Apply: The application may be submitted through the Online Application Portal (OAP) to the Ministry of Shipping website https://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in from 07.01.2021 to 06.02.2021. The candidate will have to submit the printout of the application form already uploaded in OAP to his administrative Port for onward forwarding. The administrative Ports are required to forward the applications of the candidates along with all relevant documents to The Secretary (Stat), NMPT before 22.02.2021 superscribing Application for the post of Chief Mechanical Engineer in New Mangalore Port Trust.
