Qualification
Station Master, Goods Guards, Sr. Commercial and Ticket Clerk:– Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.
Assistant Loco Pilot (Elect/Mech):- Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above (OR) B) 3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR) Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
Sr. Clerk and Typist:- Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. Typing proficiency 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer is essential.
Commercial and Ticket Clerk:- 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability / Exservicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stage).
Jr. Clerk and Typist:- 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability / Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage). Jr. Translator (Rajbhasha):- Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level OR Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level OR Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects of either of the two as medium of examination and other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree level AND Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice – versa or 2 -years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice -versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertaking.
JE/Mech. Workshop:- Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.
JE/Electrical/Design Drawing and Estimation:- Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.
JE/Track Machine:- Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
Tech-III/C & W (Mech):- Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter / Carpenter / Welder / Plumber / Pipe Fitter (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.

Selection Process
The recruitment process shall comprise of a Computer Based Test (CBT) Or written examination followed by aptitude/Speed/Skill test (wherever applicable), document Verification and Medical Examination.
