Qualification
- Trained Graduate Teachers: Bachelor’s degree with at least 45 percent marks in the subject related to the subject in which the selection is to be made from an institution recognized by the State Government or the Central Government or the University Grants Commission. Provided that for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks. Also B.Ed from recognized training institute. or by the National Council for Teacher Education. B.Ed. degree declared equivalent to (The prescribed qualification for selection will be according to the notification number 434 dated 01.03.2016 of the Department of School Education and Literacy).
- Post Graduate Teachers: Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks in the subject related to the subject in which the selection is to be made from an institution recognized by the State Government or the Central Government or the University Grants Commission. Provided that for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a postgraduate degree with minimum 45 percent marks. Also B.Ed from recognized training institute. or by the National Council for Teacher Education B.Ed. degree declared equivalent to (The educational qualification prescribed for selection will be according to the notification number 2425 dated 04.09.2012 of the Department of School Education and Literacy).
