- Cartographer: “A Candidate for direct recruitment to a post in the Service must possess a certificate of Draftsmanship or a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.”

- Cartographer: Must have passed the highs school Examination of the board or secondary education Uttarakhand. or any other examination
- Draftsman: Must have passed the high school examination from the Council of Secondary Education The certificate of a cartographer from the utter Pradesh. state Uttarakhand
