Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of Constable (Male) should not less than 18 years and should not more than 27 years as on 1st January 2015.
Qualification:- Candidates applying for the position of Constable (Male) should have passed Madhyamik examination from the West Bengal board of secondary education or its equivalent examination from any other board recognized by the state government or the Central government.
Selection Procedure:- Selection of the candidates applying for the position of Constable (Male) will be on the basis of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / written Examination and Personal Interview
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
Application Fee:- Candidates applying for the position of Constable (Male) are required to pay application fee Rs 150/- for all other category candidates through Debt card / Credit card / Net-Banking of any Bank. Schedule caste (SC) / Schedule tribe (ST) of West Bengal only will not pay any application fees.
