- Every year up to 10 awards will be suitable for the students
- Each Award carries the cash prize of up to Rs. 200000/- along with Rs.1500000 is the project research grant that is per year Rs. 500000 is applicable for the time period of three years for career development with a citation and trophy.
Eligibility Criteria

- Any of India Citizen who is engaged in the basic of applied research in biotechnology and biosciences areas in the country
- He/ She must have a mandatory and outstanding contribution in the biosciences and biotechnology areas. The duration lasts up to 5 years
- For the period of the next 3 years, the candidates have to submit their research project
- The age of the applicants should be below 45 years.
Presentation of the Award
Only selected candidates will be intimated. So, the Department of Bio-Technology will organize the formal function and give the awards.
