Eligibility Criteria For General & OBC Candidates
- Students with Indian nationality are applicable for this scheme
- Those who are studying their 1st year of engineering graduate or MMBS or Masters Degree Course in Geophysics/ Geology or MBA are eligible to apply
- Those whose family income is less than 4.50 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for the scheme scholarship
- The applying candidate’s age must not exceed more than 30 years as of 1st January 2020
- People who want to apply for this ONGC Scholarship should have a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent CGPA/ OGPA in 12th/ inter for engineering or MBBS disciplines.
ONGC scholarship scheme for economically backward/ General and OBC category
50% scholarship seats are reserved for girl’s candidates. And a total of 1000 numbers of scholarships will be issued to all SC/ ST candidates who will be lastly selected behind the shortlisting meritorious process.
And each scholarship value is Rs. 48000/- per year. Therefore it will be presented a maximum of 4 years during the candidate’s studies.
Selection Process for ONGC Scholarship
