Qualification
- Assistant Professor: A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (in concerned specialty) or equivalent recognized degree.
- Professor: A Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act).
- Associate Professor: A Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). 2. Paediatrics: A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Paediatrics) or equivalent recognized degree.
- Assistant Professor (Ped. Surgery) : A Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act). 2. M.S. in Paediatric Surgery and 03 years course of M. Ch or 06 years recognized course of (MS and M. Ch. after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto. OR M.S. in Paediatric Surgery and 02 years of M. Ch or 05 years recognized course of (MS and M Ch after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- Medical Officer: A recognised MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical act, 1956, Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 2. Completion of compulsory rotating internship – Candidates who may not have completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, If selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment.
