Qualification
Assistant Professor:- 1. Good Academic record with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Good academic record shall mean that a candidate has secured at least second class at graduate level, or has secured an average of 50% marks in the previous three examinations.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
- NET/SLET/SET shall be the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors.
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions.

How to Apply
Candidates should register their names in the office of the Assistant Registrar (Teaching), Administrative Office, Goa University half an hour before the scheduled time of the interview, along with bio-data with self-attested copies of caste certificate and certificates pertaining to educational qualification.
For Walk-in:-
Eligible candidates may appear for interview along with duly filled application form in the prescribed format and self-attested copies of all relevant documents and original documents for verification.
