- Scientist: Ph. D. Thesis submitted in Science/Chemical Sciences/Chemistry with Synthetic Organic Chemistry as the core area of research.
- Senior Scientist: Ph. D. (Science/ Chemical /Physical Sciences/ Chemistry/Physics) with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance as the core area of research and two years of post-Ph. D. research experience in the core area mentioned above.
- Principal Scientist: Ph. D. (Science/ Chemical Sciences/ Chemistry) with Bioorganic Chemistry / Lipid Chemistry/ Chemical Biology as the core area of research and at least three years of postPh.D. research experience in the subject area mentioned above.
Salary Details
- Scientist: Rs. 103681/- per month
- Senior Scientist: Rs. 119332/- per month
- Principal Scientist: Rs. 181795/- per month

Senior Scientist: 37 years
Principal Scientist: 45 years
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWBD
