Qualification/ Experience: Must either hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the MOS, Govt. of India or MEO Class I certificate or an equivalent qualification issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. Must hold Pilot license and have experience of 8 years either as Master of Foreign Going Ship or in Piloting or cumulative or 8 years’ experience as Chief Engineer of a Foreign Going Ship.

How to Apply: Applications are invited from suitable and willing officers, who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post of General Manager (Marine), as per Annexure-I. The application may be submitted through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of the Ministry of Shipping website http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in from 09-01-2021 to 09-02-2021. The candidate will have to submit the printout of the application form already uploaded in OAP to his administrative port the onward forwarding. The administrative port is required to forward the applications of the candidates along with all relevant documents before 24-02-2021 superscribing Application for the General Manager (Marine) under HDC, SMP, and Kolkata.
