MP State Eligibility Test 2024: Posts
- Qualification: If the candidate has passed post graduation from a university or educational institution established by a Central Act or State Act or a university under the University Grants Commission, 1956 (Notification No. 03 of 1956) or is studying in the final year of post graduation/ post graduation third/ post graduation fourth semester. Will be eligible. 2. It is necessary to have minimum 55 percent marks in postgraduate degree for unreserved category candidates and 50percent marks forreserved category (only Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class (except creamy layer) and physically handicapped candidates of Madhya Pradesh). 3. EWS category candidates are given U.G.C. As per the instructions of the UGC, like unreserved category candidates, they must have obtained minimum 55 percent marks in postgraduate degree. 4. Such candidates who are studying in the final year of postgraduate, third postgraduate, fourth semester and whose postgraduate final year examination result has not been declared or the result of postgraduate final year, third postgraduate, fourth semester examination has not been declared or the final year postgraduate examination result has not been declared. Result of 3rd Post Graduate 4th Semester is awaited, all those candidates are provisionally eligible to appear in the examination. 5. Even if the above candidates are eligible in the examination, the eligibility certificate will be valid only if within two years of the declaration of the State Eligibility Test result, minimum 55 percent marks are obtained in the postgraduate degree for unreserved category candidates and reserved category candidates (only in Madhya Pradesh) Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class (except creamy layer), and physically handicapped candidates are required to score minimum 50 percent marks. 6. Such Ph.D. Degree holder candidates whose post graduation examination has been completed by September 19, 1991 will be given 5 percent relaxation in educational qualification (55 percent to 50 percent).
